2004

Dec 10 - Open House at the Jukebox City Building including Wastweet Studio, the studios of Tara Gimmer and also Todd Nordling. Thanks to everyone who joined us! What a fabulous turn-out. Let's do it again next year.

Dec 3 - Small Works invitational at the Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d'Alene ID. Artists' reception Friday night.  Four of my pieces will be on display all month.

Nov. 8 - London trip. Watch to see what kind of inspiration shows up after this trip to study at the great British museums.

Oct 7 - Artist reception for my first Seattle gallery show, at the Sam Day Studio and Gallery, 79 S. Main, Pioneer Square. On display until  to Nov. 2. click here to see photos of the exhibit

  

Sept - I was invited to be one of four artists to sculpt the official Presidential Inaugural Medal for the upcoming presidential election. There will be two medals pre-made for each candidate of which I am doing one of the John Kerry portraits. See my submission

Sept. - Have you seen this sculpture running down the street? It was stolen from The Galleria DeFelice in the Davenport Hotel in Spokane WA. !!

June - August - Odin on display with the AMSA exhibit at the Nordic Heritage Museum

May - Served as one of  five jurors for the AMSA / Nordic Heritage Museum exhibit.

2003

Nov 22.- Opening party for the new studio. 

Oct - New gallery location: Zado Gallery in downtown Portland Oregon on Pine between 3th and 5th St at the Embassy Suites Hotel. 

Sept.-Dec. - A series of infrared photos will be on display in a three person exhibit at the Spokane Club in Spokane Washington as well as an article in the Spokane Club monthly newsletter.

Sept.1 - Wastweet Studio is relocating to Seattle, Washington, at 1952 First Ave. South #6. Click here to see more pictures.

August 15 - Commissioned to sculpt for the Cheney High School a portrait relief bronze in memory of the NASA Astronaut Michael Anderson who was killed in the Space Shuttle Columbia crash early this year. Michael graduated from Cheney High School in Cheney Washington in 1977.

May 30 - Infrared photos now on diplayed at the Gallery at Joel, in Spokane Washington. 

April 11 - Grand Opening of the wildly successful new location of the Art Spirit Gallery. Three relief sculptures on display.

Feb.7-9 Three sculptures on displayed at the Raw Space Exhibit in Spokane WA. The exhibit is in conjunction with the city Art Walk.

Feb 6 - "The Grace With Which She Carries Her Burden" is pictured in today's edition of the Spokesman Review newspaper in an article about the Spokane Art Walk Friday night Feb 7.

2002

Sept.14 - Watch for me at the upcoming Art In The Making at the Coeur d'Alene Plaza Shops.

August 15 - Work displayed in the new Gallery De Felice inside the historic and beautifully restored Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane, Washington.

August 1 - Wastweet Studio is now completely independent 

March 12 - The sculpture "Duality" has been accepted into the 56th Annual Juried Sculpture and Medallic Art exhibition at the Pen and Brush Club in New York City. The exhibit runs April 5th through the 30th.

February 14 - Artists' reception for the February exhibit at the National Sculpture Society in New York. The "Overture" will be showing in the exhibit from February 11 through April 26. The show was covered by NY1 News, Channel 1 in New York City. Visit the NSS online exhibit of Angels Cupids and Winged Creatures.

Park Avenue Atrium NSS Exhibit, artists' reception.

February 9 - Art in The Making at the Coeur d'Alene Shops. Giving the public a chance to watch the local artists "in action" sculpting, painting and drawing from live models. I worked in relief with clay on a masonite board. Thanks to all who stopped to say hi and ask questions.

2001

December 21 - Presented finished bronze fireman sculpture to the City of Coeur'd Alene, the Fire Department, and the Coeur'd Alene Arts Commission. Thanks to everyone who attended!

October 30 - Displaying pictures of  Fire Station  project progress at Coeur d'Alene Mayor's Awards for the Arts.

October 26 - Exhibit of new photographs at the Lake City Playhouse

October 16 - Demonstrating bas relief sculpture for the Coeur d'Alene Art Association.

October 8 - Fireman Sculpture delivered to the foundry for bronze casting.

July - New Studio location, now at 868 W Hayden Ave. Hayden Lake Idaho.

May - One of my designs and medalic sculptures, Caesar's Palace Winged Victory Token voted "Token of the Year" in Las Vegas at the CCGTCC convention.

May 13 - Home reception at the house of Mike and Anneliese Scadden in San Jose California. 

May 10 - Awarded my first public art commission for the new Coeur d'Alene Fire Station. A bronze relief panel will be mounted in the front door to be completed by Nov. Follow the project progress

April 19 - May 4 - Tripping Paris, Spain and Portugal

March 10 - Art in The Making at the Coeur d'Alene Shops. Local artists working in public from a live model. 

 

February 10 - Wastweet Studio website first published

February 13 - First of the "Overture" bronze edition released from the foundry.
